Week Four: Job Readiness Training, Feedback Lesson, and Software Installation

Week four started off with NO MONDAY CLASS! Bummer that we couldn't come in to learn anything, But it gives us time to study up on some thing.

Tuesday came around and we started right off with Leo giving us an assignment of "what it would be like if the world was without technology." It was a piece of cake to finish that project. We started with out job readiness training updating our LinkedIn profiles. Mine was already perfect but I ended up changing some things that i have not put on there yet. Right after that we got into the Feedback lesson with the people from frog. Venetia and Hallie, they showed us how to give and receive feedback. It was very interesting too see them react a scene that could happen when feedback is given and received. They did a great job in acting the part. We had to install Wifi connection to the laptops so we could use them for the Get Connect event. It failed when we had to have the Admin password to them.

Thursday was full of projects. We had a presentation on USF and talking about opportunities to get connected with other business for jobs. It was very informational. I can't wait to go to that event! We the people from frog so we could act out our own Giving and Receiving feedback. I was paired up with Jenifer and we did a pretty good job on it. We tried doing the laptops again to have wifi capability. We got two laptops with wifi but the other laptops had to wait for another time.
