Half Way There! 6/12 Weeks!

On Monday we had to do the input our data for the Get Connected event on Saturday. The Get Connected event was a success. People came and we helped them get connected to the internet. Fixed and teach them about their devices laptop, tablets, and phone. We had a raffle after a job panel program and we had lunch. It all started from 8AM to 3PM. We imputed the data of the attendees such as where they live and how many people came from what zip code. We made charts of those data so we can present them next week.

On Tuesday we did our financial planning for when we got in until break. We had to run our budget on a spread sheet with the formulas already created. We had to figure out our spending and run our credit check through Leo. Code academy after the break is what we started working on. It was simple except our computers are kinda slow. It was a okay way to get started to learn coding and syntax of java. We started working on Tech support last hour of the day. Learn how to start a ticket and customer on our ticket system. We started diagnosing the devices people already brought in and updating the tickets step by step.

On Thursday, We had a guest speaker Natalie Teter from Tech SF speaking with us about their program like what the requirement are to get in as well as what the program does or provide for you such as scholarships and certifications. After she left we went back on tech support started fixing up all the problems by either reinstalling software or operating system to clean up their device problems. We found success of today. Finally we had pizza from Dominos and blog waiting for the Networking event with Jason.
