4th week, 1/3 of the program!

Didn't have to come in on Monday!!!

Tuesday Jason came in as a guest speaker for networking as a community. He mention how hard it is to start a network getting to know people and creating connections in this field. He is a human resource major so he wanted to help us with event courses meeting people to build and learn about networking. Afterwards we brushed up by filling in our LinkedIn profile, still haven't finished but hopefully Olivia will help us a little more on it. We also did feedback with Haley and Vanishia from the company Frog. We had to learn the tone and vocabulary to talk to clients for tech support and such or even giving/receiving  feedback as a team. Afterward we had an hour left to set out our donated laptops for the community connecting event. We had to install the drivers for the wireless adapter in order for it to connect wireless. That didn't go well due to the fact that we didn't have admin password and had to reset all the laptops fresh. We were running down on time and had to pack up for Thursday as the next project.

Thursday we came in to finish the project we started on Tuesday. We had to find a way to remove the admin passwords on the laptops therefore we have to reformat every laptop. Due the limitation on the Ubuntu Cd we had to do them couple at a time and only got a few done. We encounter the issue that one out of the three laptop didn't recognize the driver and we had to troubleshoot the cause. We finally end up with a conclusion and had to turn on the wireless card funtion with the laptop key FN+Wireless. After break we had Frog came in again to practice more on feedback. We had scenario to act out to practice and had to learn how to handle with different scenario. We picked up on couple of tips and tricks on what to do and say with different situations.

Next week we're going to Jones IT on Monday.
Stay Tune...
