Mission Techies this week was great as we got to be more hands-on with the hardware component of the program. We were able to disassemble a Computer System Unit and a Computer Laptop. The experience was overwhelming because there are so many parts to keep track of, however, it was fun to take it all apart and it was definitely interesting going from lecture-to-lab to see what the components of a modern computer look like in real life.
Also, the presentation Split-Screen Mattias gave on Financial Capability was eye-opening. Being financially capable important to consider when developing future career goals, and for this component to be a part of the Mission Techie Program makes the program richer for young adults and others.
I am very grateful to be a part of this program and I am excited to continue this path.
