Monday, started of great we went on a field trip to Jones IT, where we met the founder and CEO Evan Jones. He gave us a tour of their headquarter and gave us information on his business. He also mentioned an internship program that his organization does during the summer...maybe i'll be an intern at Jones IT the coming summer. After the wonderful tour of Jones IT we came to the Mission Techies Head Quarters and took apart Apple Desktop G5's.
Tuesday, Leo informed us that Olivia will no longer be coming in once a week to help us with our resumes, cover letter, elevator pitch, etc. Now Leo will help us with getting us prepared to apply for jobs. Evan Jones came to visit us and spoke to us about wireless connections and how they worked. It was interesting to listen to how he compared technology with things we use every day ex. freeways. showed us the server room...that was AMAZING!!!
Thursday, we took apart apple laptops and then put them back together. Then we came in to lab 2 and Leo spoke to us about the Get Connected event that will be happening this Saturday. He gave us more information on what we will be doing. After we did that we learned how to make our own app using a google supported website.
This week was great can't wait for Saturday and then next week when we will start coding.
