5th Week Meda

Jones IT Corporate visit once as soon as we came back to MEDA on Monday. Took the bus there, first thing we realized was their a street fighter arcade emulator hacked and loaded with games. We met the CEO of Jones IT Evan Jones. He talked to us about how he started his company and what their company does. Basically contractor company for bigger companies as their IT specialist. They manage all the companies' network and data as well as tech. We got valuable information and how to intern with tech companies like them. We came back we started to take apart G5 Power Macs. We didn't get too ahead of the project due to minor factors.

On Tuesday, we did job readiness training our career path and plans on how to get there. After break we met with Evan Jones from Jones IT to learn about wireless. We learn different frequency as well as how wireless communicates. We also went down to the MEDA server room to take a peek at their servers and how it's set up as well as how they function.

On Thursday we came starting to take apart Mac Pros. It was harder than the Vostro laptops but simple enough and similar enough to be done. After ward we started making apps with the app call MIT AI2 App for android. We made a simple test app and then started to do our own game WhackAMole version. We found success in our day and got ready for the all the Get Connected event coming up this Saturday. Stay tune for that!
