In this free 12-week (Mon - Fri 240 hour) training program, participants learn IT essentials of hardware, software, networking and coding, plus how to provide tech support to low-income families. Graduates of the program receive a $500 stipend, job-readiness training, professional skills, ongoing placement, retention services, college prep and knowledge of how to enroll in post-secondary education. A high level of productivity is essential for the tech industry. This week we've learned how important it is to stay focused, on task, and to continue to be productive at one's work in the technology sector. Being able to manage yourself, schedule, and workload will make you an asset to whatever company you attain a job with. Having the determination to get a job done in a timely and efficiently manner will bring unsurmounting value to one's self. It is great to learn these lessons about the industry.
